Grand Gestures of an Underdog (2018) — Hasan Hujairi

Grand Gestures of an Underdog is an eBook with a series of works and actions by Hasan Hujairi. The project was in response to a commission by A3 and ARNDT Agency as part of 52Artists52Actions by Artspace Sydney. Works range between generative videos and drawings, sound pieces, animations, personal texts, and the establishment of the New Music Ensemble of Manama platform as a work of art. The actions and the book were all compiled between January 29th, 2018 and February 4th, 2018. The eBook is available for free download. This project along with the other projects have been included in a monograph entitled 52 Artists 52 Actions: Acts of Disobedience (2019).
