Lesson learned between two stations and a day
Published by hasan April 19th, 2006 in daily life.
Here’s a quicky - just thought I’d share my share of motivational blah-blah for the day so that I could keep things in retrospective for my future reference.
Today, I learned that I am happy to be a very bad judge of character. I always had this secret tendancy to label people based on a preconception I had, or on first impressions that didn’t rub me in the right way.
Today, I ended up being surprised by three people I know, all of whom I met at three different times and had three different chats with. During each of the three little chats, I constantly found myself surprised by the person I was talking to. They all ended up being alright, even though I thought they had a few personal issues to deal with at first.
I’m happy that they’re cool people. Horray for jelly beans.
